Bangin’ Toons by @MinicineYorks

And we’re back with another Minicine Leeds Playlist because this Thursday we’re at the Palace Picturehouse in Armley Mills Industrial Museum for another evening of film and cake.  This month we’re screening the amazing award-winning animation Persepolis (2007).

Persepolis

Based on the graphic novel of the same name, the film tells the story of an Iranian girl sent by her family to study in Austria during the Revolution so as to stay out of trouble.

As well as our feature presentation there will also be a selection of animated shorts for you to enjoy and tea, coffee and cake available on arrival. Tempted, aren’t you? Tickets are available here.

As this will be our first animated feature film for a Minicine screening we thought we’d throw together a playlist of animation related tunes for you listening pleasure.

Get ’em in yer ears!
